Jules Gabriel Verne was a French novelist, poet, and playwright, who is the second most-translated author in the world since 1979. Within this project, I decided to recreate the book cover for three of his books: "Journey to the Center of the Earth," "The Mysterious Island," and "From the Earth to the Moon." The goal of the project was to create an appealing design that would motivate consumers to pick it up off of the shelves, while still hinting at what the reader might experience while reading the book.
