Drawing inspiration from Stefan Sagmeister and David Carson, I combined their two styles to create my own personal style of artwork for this design. We can see inspiration from Carson, with the use of overlapping type and the chaos the background provides to the viewer. Sagmeister can be seen within the unusual design on the face, as well as the doodles and hand drawn type in the background.
